We are looking for people to help lead Get The Flock Out campaigns in the cities of Capitola and Watsonville; we hope for a repeat of our City of Santa Cruz success.
Residents of Capitola and Watsonville - Don't want to lead but want to participate? We can use your help as well.

We have been getting many calls from organizations across the country wanting to talk to us about our success in Santa Cruz City. Please email us at gtfoscc[at]proton.me and someone will be in contact with you.
Check out our Action Toolkit and study the issue and contact your local City Councils (in Santa Cruz County, the cities of Watsonville, Capitola and Santa Cruz all have these cameras)
There are 5 jurisdictions in our County that we need to work on:
City of Watsonville - There are currently a total of 37 (!) Flock surveillance cameras in Watsonville.
City of Capitola - has 10 cameras.
City of Santa Cruz - currently has 8 Flock cameras. Voted to cancel their contract! Cameras should be gone by Feb. 13, 2026
City of Scotts Valley - no Flock cameras.
County of Santa Cruz - currently has no official Flock cameras (the Home Depot, a private company, has some). We will continue to work with the Board of Supervisors and the Sheriff to ensure that none are officially installed.
